The New Jersey Business Action Center will host a free six-part virtual learning series from April 20 to May 13 to support businesses in recovery from pandemic-related disruptions.
The series will cover topics including financial resources, technical assistance, tips for obtaining government contracts, COVID-19 safety protocols and resources for nonprofits.
The web series is strategically timed around National Small Business Week, which runs from May 3 to 9. The NJBAC is partnering with various organizations, including the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, the Small Business Administration and the New Jersey Department of Transportation, on the series.
“Whether public or private, large or small, new or established, businesses in the state have faced unprecedented challenges this year, and have grown and evolved in response,” said Melanie Willoughby, executive director of the NJBAC, in a prepared statement. “Given these developments, our new virtual series will provide useful resources and information for businesses statewide.”
The first virtual class will be on resources for nonprofits on April 20 at 12:00 p.m. The class will cover government procurement on April 22 at 12:00 p.m, technical assistance opportunities on April 27 at 12:00 p.m., financial resources on April 29 at 12:00 p.m., COVID Safety in the Workplace on May 11 at 12:00 p.m., and government services at 12 p.m. on May 13.
The webinars will be streamed live, and guests will be invited to ask questions and participate in the discussion.
