Inc. is out with its annual Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing companies, and 132 from New Jersey made the 2020 list.
Overall, New Jersey companies on the list had a median growth rate of 144 percent, total revenue of $7 billion, added 19,890 jobs and saw 84 repeat honorees.
Companies were ranked by their percentage growth in revenue over three years (2016-2019).
CXFormula of Mahwah had the highest rank at No. 64 with revenue growth of 4979 percent.
Others from the Garden State with significant growth included Thunderbolt Software in Egg Harbor at No. 94; the engineering firm experienced 3,608 percent growth. No. 119, Secaucus-based Boxzooka Fulfillment & Global Ecommerce, saw 3,097 percent growth and No. 126, IT management company Techsmart Global from Plainsboro, grew 2,929 percent.
No. 305 is no stranger to the list—OwnBackup experienced 1,486 percent growth. The software company from Englewood Cliffs was No. 102 on the 2019 Inc. 5000 list.
JAG-ONE Physical Therapy of Woodbridge, which just opened a location in Berkley Heights on Aug. 7, was named N0. 1407 demonstrating a three-year growth of 315 percent with a total of 71 facilities now in the New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania areas.
