AmTRAN Video Corp. (AVC), a leader in HD and Ultra HD TV design and manufacturing, announced Thursday that it is now a national sponsor of the NFL Alumni’s chapter charity golf tournaments.According to the announcement, JVC TV by AmTRAN will be the HDTV of choice for the NFLA’s Pro Football Legends.
The NFLA has more than 25 active chapters across the nation and each host a golf tournament to raise money for local charities in their respective areas, according to the announcement.
AVC is donating JVC televisions to auction off at the fundrainsing events to support the NFLA’s philanthropic efforts. Some of the charities the NFLA sponsors are the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, D.A.R.E., Special Olympics, YMCA, Make A Wish Foundation, Autism Speaks, and many more.
“Our chapter golf tournaments are a huge aspect of our fundraising efforts for numerous charities around the country,” Joe Pisarcik, president and CEO of the NFLA, said in a prepared statement. “We are excited to have AmTRAN on board to support our efforts, and we look forward to this new partnership and the many positive ways we can work together.”
