New Jersey vintners and chefs are coming together for a series of events, thanks to the New Jersey Department of State Division of Travel & Tourism.
Through DTT funding, the Garden State Wine Growers Association and the Garden State Culinary Arts Foundation are launching the New Jersey Wines Culinary Series on April 25.
The first event at Drew’s Bayshore Bistro in Keyport will join together Chef Drew Araneo with Mark Carduner, co-owner and winemaker at Working Dog Winery in East Windsor. The second event, held May 23, will join Araneo with Unionville Vineyards winemakers Conor Quilty with Chef AJ Capella at A Toute Heure in Cranford.
Additional events will be announced soon.
“We’re excited to launch the New Jersey Wines Culinary Series which we feel will help introduce countless new individuals to our award-winning wines and winemakers and also create long-lasting relationships with the state’s finest chefs and restaurants,” said Tom Cosentino, executive director of the GSWGA in a statement.
Diners can choose between 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m seatings.
Each will include a five-course menu, and each dish will be paired with a different wine from Working Dog Winery. Tickets run $140 per person including dinner, wine, and gratuity.
