The New Jersey Council of Community Colleges has chosen Examity, a provider of online proctoring and identity verification, to offer test security solutions.
The partnership with Examity, whose headquarters are in Natick, Mass., gives schools the option to provide live, record-and-review and automated proctoring for more than 400,000 students at roughly 70 campuses in New Jersey.
The new partnership reflects the accelerating growth of online learning in higher education. According to a recent report from the Babson Survey Research Group, online courses saw increased enrollment for the 14th straight year, with the largest growth occurring at public institutions including community colleges.
Nearly one-third of all students now take at least one course online, fueling demand for solutions that can ensure security and integrity in online assessments.
