Miss Grass, a cannabis brand co-founded by New Jersey native Kate Miller, can now be found at dispensaries throughout the state.

In a Nov. 11 announcement, Miss Grass said its popular Minis collection is on sale at stores run by Ascend Wellness, Acreage Holdings (The Botanist), Columbia Care (The Cannabist) and Verano Holdings (Zen Leaf), with expansion to other dispensaries to come soon.

Miss Grass Minis – which are available in California, Nevada, Illinois and Massachusetts – come in five-packs of 0.4-gram pre-rolls in three color-coded, carefully selected strains: Fast Times (Blood Orange; Sativa Dominant; Bloom + Play), Quiet Times (Sapphire Blue; Indica Dominant; Restore + Anchor) and All Times (Lilac Purple; Hybrid; Harmony + Flow).

All strains are consistent in terpene and cannabinoid profiles, ensuring that consumers can expect a consistent experience no matter where they purchase the brand, the company said.

Launched in 2018 by Miller and Anna Duckworth, Miss Grass is the first women-owned and operated cannabis brand in the legal recreational and medical market, according to the company. Since then, it has built an educated community of conscious consumers, while working to eradicate stigma, advocate for equity and focus on women as its primary audience — the cannabis industry’s fastest-growing and most underserved demographic.

Miss Grass has also partnered with nonprofits such as the Women’s Prison Association, National Bail Out, Last Prisoner’s Project and Trans Lifeline.

Miller, the company’s chief executive officer, said, “Bringing Miss Grass to New Jersey is an exciting moment for the brand, and an especially significant moment for me personally. Weed has always played a meaningful role in my life, and my journey with it began in New Jersey: I’m a proud Jersey girl, born and raised. My love for this plant – and my drive to advocate for it – was birthed in the Garden State.”

The West Caldwell native went on to say, “Miss Grass was built to provide access to this plant to all those who want to experience its benefits, to reduce stigma around it, and to help build an equitable industry. It’s an honor to now be able to share Miss Grass with all those who share the state I call home.”
