With more than 200 guests in attendance, the NJ Tech Council hosted its annual CFO + Investor Awards Breakfast at the Westin in Princeton on June 7.
Richard Veldran, former chief financial officer for Dun & Bradstreet, began the ceremony with a keynote address detailing his involvement with taking the company private in February and noting the “tremendous lengths of innovation and technology leadership,” in the Garden State.
Honorees were recognized in four categories at the event.
The Avison Young-sponsored CFO of the Year award was presented to Bill Vogt of Discovery Data; the PNC Bank-sponsored Deal of the Year award was presented to Steve Sun and Amy Liao of GENEWIZ; and the Optima Global Solutions-sponsored Financier of the Year award was presented to Tony Dimun of Nascent Enterprises.
The final category of recognition was the RSM-sponsored Hall of Fame, which saw Brian Carolan of Commvault; Mark Ciano of PNY Technologies, and Mike Riccio of Panasonic inducted.
