After feedback received at recent “We Are Listening” forums in Atlantic City and Cherry Hill, New Jersey Transit is adjusting some substitute bus service to now include a stop at the Atlantic City Rail Terminal/Convention Center.
Beginning March 9, Transit Bus Routes No. 340 (Atlantic City – Lindenwold Express) and 551 (Atlantic City – Philadelphia) will serve the rail terminal on most trips. Previously those routes originated and terminated at the Atlantic City Bus Terminal.
Buses arriving in Atlantic City will first stop at the Atlantic City Bus Terminal then continue on to a final stop at the Rail Terminal/Convention Center.
Trips departing from the city will originate at the rail terminal and stop at the bus terminal five minutes later to continue on to Lindenwold or Philadelphia.
The buses will operate until Atlantic City Rail Line service resumes on May 24.
