The New Jersey Association of Ambulatory Surgery Centers named three new members to its board of directors.
Bonnie Brady Lavoie of West Morris Surgery, Joan McKibben of the Ambulatory Surgical Center of Somerset, and Caroline Ivanovski-Hauser of the Bergen-Passaic Eye Surgery Center, who will also serve as NJAASC’s Treasurer, were elected.
“NJAASC has a very proactive and engaged Board that has been committed to not only supporting our members, but all NJAASCs in New Jersey,” said NJAASC President Jeff Shanton in a prepared statement.
“NJAASC has been extremely active since the COVID-19 pandemic hit New Jersey in helping to guide Centers through the crisis, while serving as a liaison to the NJDOH and as an industry voice in the governor’s office. I know that these new board members will continue to serve the organization well, and we look forward to working with them.”
Other board members include Melissa Bushnell of AtlantiCare Surgery Center; Sharon Gelardi of The Gastro Surgi Center of New Jersey; Michael Graziano of Clifton Surgery Center; NJAASC Secretary Sheila McAteer, of Virtua; Meg Stagliano of RWJBarnabas Health; Jeff Shanton of Journal Square Surgical Center; and Andrew Weiss of Summit Surgical Center.
NJAASC is an incorporated, nonprofit organization with the mission to promote and advance the efforts of New Jersey’s ambulatory surgery centers in the delivery of cost-effective patient care.
