NJBIZ is accepting nominations until Jan. 31 for its 2021 Leaders in Finance awards, which will be presented in a virtual event on March 25.
The program replaces the publication’s CFO of the Year awards and is designed to honor individuals in a variety of fields for their work in finance. Honorees will be chosen by a panel of independent judges with experience in the financial field. The judges will make their selections based on the nominees’ involvement in their industries and communities, along with their achievements, energy and innovative ideas. In short, nominees’ work should stand as a model of professionalism for their peers.
Nominees can hold positions other than chief financial officer or work for organizations beyond banks or brokerages. Categories include, but are not limited to:
Banking: individuals such as mortgage lenders, bank executives, credit officers and loan officers.
Corporate: company officers such as CFO, VP of Finance, and comptrollers.
Investing: individuals such as stockbrokers, financial advisers, financial planners and investment executives.
Professional: individuals such as public accountants, auditors, financial educators and financial analysts.
Individuals can nominate themselves or their names can be submitted by others. There is no cost for submitting a nomination.
