Gregg Lally is making NJBIZ Brackets history. The 2009 Florida Gulf Coast graduate becomes the first executive in the tournament’s history to advance to the Sweet 16 as a 15 seed. (Turns out, it’s a first in NCAA history, too.) Lally’s road has included stiff competition, but he easily dispatched No. 2 Georgetown’s Sid Brown — who was in Philadelphia, cheering on with his family — on Friday before unseating San Diego State representative Randi Roberts, of Novartis, Sunday night.
