When most folks think “multinational corporation” the image that likely comes to mind is a faceless, remorseless behemoth, crushing small competitors that dare challenge its economic power. So how is it that a “naturally friendly” oral care products maker based in Montclair could find a comfortable home inside just such a colossus? Well, just ask Craig Dubitsky. He’s the “friendly founder” of Hello Products, which was acquired by consumer goods giant Colgate-Palmolive Co. in 2020. For this edition of NJBIZ Conversations, Editor Jeff Kanige talked to Dubitsky about why he got into the business, his new role as Colgate’s chief innovation strategist and what it’s like to be part of a huge organization. “It’s really a very progressive, very cool place,” he said. “They’re like ‘Craig let’s go’ and I’m like ‘yeah man let’s take this thing for a spin.’ So Hello is going to go all over the place, which is terrific. We just launched in Canada and we’re just launching in Chile. It’ll be going all over.” Watch the full interview HERE.
