Small business owners and professionals who work with them speak often about the dearth of resources available to help with planning and day-to-day operations. But the Small Business Administration has come up with a way to match big companies with Main Street businesses. Under the SBA’s All Small Mentor-Protégé program owners can learn the ropes from experienced government contractors. In the latest edition of NJBIZ Conversations, Editor Jeff Kanige spoke with Eleanor Kubacki, the founder and CEO of Trenton-based advertising agency EFK Group. She describes her experience in the program, in partnership with global ad giant Ogilvy. EFK was able to work with national clients, such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Science Foundation on large campaigns. Watch the interview here.
