South Jersey businesses are often overshadowed by their northern peers simply by virtue of the difference between the regions’ populations and the magnitude of the economic activity each produces. In fact, businesses in the southern part of the state face many of the same challenges as those in the north. And the leaders who run those businesses are just as competent, hard-working and dedicated as their counterparts elsewhere.
Those similarities – and the resilience demonstrated by the South Jersey business community – will be on full display in an upcoming episode of Think Tank with Steve Adubato. The show, assembled in conjunction with NJBIZ, presents a conversation with three southern New Jersey business leaders: Christina Renna, the CEO of the Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey; Max Gomez, the founder of Amp’d Fitness, a gym with locations in Brielle and Manasquan; and Karen Primak, the CEO of IPAK, a Pennsauken-based manufacturer.
In this special edition of NJBIZ Conversations, Think Tank host Steve Adubato talks about what viewers will learn from the South Jersey discussion and what makes businesses in the region worth watching. The show airs June 10 at 8:30 a.m. on NJ PBS and at 12:30 p.m. on WNET-Thirteen.
