New Jersey City University has named Dr. Bernard McSherry as acting dean of its School of Business.McSherry brings with him 33 years of Wall Street experience as a long-time member of the New York Stock Exchange. Since 2011, he has worked as assistant professor of Finance.
Dr. Sue Henderson, NJCU president, spoke to the value McSherry’s experience adds.
“The establishment of our School of Business last year signifies the enormous growth of NJCU’s business programs over the past decade and Dr. McSherry’s experience in the classroom as well as his extensive background in the field will be an invaluable asset as we continue to expand the business disciplines to better prepare students for tomorrow’s workforce,” she said in a statement.
McSherry attained a doctorate from the Lubin School of Business at Pace University as well as an MBA from Stern School of Business at New York University. He is a graduate of Wagner College.
