NJMEP launches Educational Resource Directory

The New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program has launched the Educational Resource Directory in an effort to support manufacturers with resources needed to train employees. The New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program has launched the Educational Resource Directory in an effort to support manufacturers with resources needed to train employees.

This directory for New Jersey manufacturers and industry professional is a direct connection to all of the resources available to help support and grow business, including business support and assistance, connections to train the workforce, and NJMEP training programs and events.

New Jersey has not had a single source to provide locations in assisting manufacturers to train their employees, according to NJMEP. However, state, county and even local governments have their own resources and NJMEP seeks to fill the need for New Jersey manufacturers with this directory.

“The Educational Resource Directory is a valuable tool not only for manufacturers, but also for those organizations that provide support to them,” NJMEP Chief Executive Officer John Kennedy said in a news release. “Ensuring that these two groups are aware of each other and able to connect is critical to fostering a dynamic manufacturing community.”

NJMEP is a private, not–for-profit organization that improves the profitability and competitiveness of New Jersey’s manufacturers. It is backed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology.

For more than 20 years, NJMEP has used its extensive network of connections and track record of success to help manufacturers adapt to the latest innovative technologies and best practices to realize more than $3.8 billion in value.
