Newmark Knight Frank (NKF) said Wednesday it arranged two leases at Lincoln Place in Edison on behalf of property owner American Equity Partners.
The new tenants, Crown Castle USA Inc. and Choice Home Warranty, leased 15,000 square feet and 36,000 square feet respectively.
The transactions, totaling more than 50,000 square feet, leave only two remaining available spaces in the 250,000-square-foot building.
Senior Managing Director Jamie Drummond and Associate Directors Andrew Perotti and Dan Reider of NKF exclusively represent American Equity Partners in the leasing and marketing of Lincoln Place. CCI was represented by Tim Kuhn of Colliers International, while Choice Home was represented by David Zimmel of Zimmel Associates.
Located at 2147 Route 27, American Equity Partners recently completed a multi-million dollar improvement program to modernize Lincoln Place. The four-story property now dons a renovated lobby, common and restroom areas, as well as new elevator cabs. Additionally, tenants have access to a full-service café and lounge and a new gym in the building.
“Conveniently located near Route 287, Lincoln Place is a building designed for comfort and located for ease. American Equity Partners saw the potential to convert the property into a true Class A asset,” said Drummond. “They have a strong track record of reinventing older buildings with stylish updates that complement a full suite of amenities, and we knew this would be a tremendous opportunity for today’s tenants.”
