Plainfield-based Levin Management Corporation (LMC) said March 11 that Norman’s Hallmark renewed its commitment and relocated to a larger space at Somerset Shopping Center in Bridgewater. In its new location, the family-owned and operated card and specialty retail shop occupies 6,000 square feet, a space about 1,500 square feet larger than the original.

The 219,000-square-foot shopping center, located at the junction of Route 202/206 and Route 28, is exclusively leased and managed by LMC. Vanessa Fernandez-Kelty, LMC senior leasing representative, arranged the lease.

“When tenants grow and thrive – particularly in a challenging retail climate – it’s exciting news,” Fernandez-Kelty said. “With this expansion, Norman’s Hallmark offers an even more inviting and easy-to-shop store design. The success that Norman’s Hallmark has seen at Somerset Shopping Center testifies to this property’s position as a key local shopping destination, and we are pleased to have them remain a tenant for years to come.”

The new Norman’s Hallmark store at Somerset Shopping Center is fully modernized and features an even wider selection of card and gift items than the former shop, according to Howard Henschel, Norman’s Hallmark chief executive officer. “The larger space also allows us to improve the way we display our merchandise and creates a wonderful shopping environment for customers,” he said. “We have a strong customer base at this Bridgewater location and are pleased to be expanding here with one of our new, full-line stores.”

Remaining space availabilities at Somerset Shopping Center range from 1,100 square feet to 22,000 square feet.
