NJBIZ STAFF//September 2, 2020//
This year has presented unique challenges to us all, but in the midst of a public health pandemic it’s hard not to focus on those working on the “front lines” of that fight, bringing an added sense of gravitas and appreciation to the 2020 NJBIZ Health Care Heroes Awards.
Based off of your submissions, and chosen by a panel of independent judges, the program recognizes individuals and organizations across 12 categories for their significant impacts on the health care industry and landscape in New Jersey.
Due to the unprecedented circumstances faced this year by workers in the health care industry, during its Oct. 15 virtual celebration NJBIZ announced all of this year’s finalists as winners for the 2020 Health Care Heroes Awards.
The morning ceremony also included the presentation of the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award.
Even though she is the “woman who needs no introduction,” Gov. Phil Murphy joined the virtual event to offer one for this year’s honoree: New Jersey Commissioner of Health Judith Persichilli.
