Onyx Equities to open NOMA in early 2022

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Developer Onyx Equities is nearing completion of NOMA, its luxury residential community at 48 North Maple Avenue in downtown Ridgewood.

NOMA is scheduled to open shortly after the New Year with on-site leasing led by The Marketing Directors. The debut follows that of its successful sister community The Benjamin, which leased up in just 50 days in spring 2021.

Comprised of just 39 residences, Onyx Equities said NOMA will be complemented by a “country club” collection of amenities connecting the community to the culture in downtown Ridgewood.

“It was always our intention to create two high level residential rental options juxtaposing one with more traditional design elements and materials and one with a more edgy feel to ensure that we appealed to all renters looking to stay in Ridgewood,” said John Saraceno, co-founder and managing principal at Onyx Equities and Onyx Living. “We leased up The Benjamin in less than two months which let us know that we made the right product for this community.”

NOMA residences will feature nine to 10-foot ceilings, open-concept layouts with walnut plank flooring, STRATIS smart home technology, custom modular closets and an in-home washer & dryer. Kitchens will have white quartz counters, stainless-steel appliances, sprawling breakfast bars, custom European cabinets and wine storage. The bathrooms will feature white quartz counters, as well, along with frameless glass showers and back-lit vanity mirrors.

Some units will have a larger den layout and private outdoor space.

The amenities package includes a commercial-grade Matrix fitness center, a yoga studio with virtual training technology, resident lounge with billiards and shuffleboard, a golf simulator, co-working spaces and a lush rooftop lounge featuring an outdoor bar, green lawn with a movie screen, and a private party area. On-site covered parking is also available along with resident storage, package delivery lockers, bicycle storage, and a pet spa.

The rentals offer convenient access to Ridgewood Train Station and are moments away from restaurants, retail, and park space.
