This marks the second HPAE contract that HMH has settled in recent weeks. About a month ago, employees at The Harborage ratified a new three-year contract.
Details on the tentative agreement reached Wednesday were not immediately disclosed.
Negotiations are ongoing for approximately 1,200 nurses at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune City and for nearly 290 nurses at Southern Ocean Medical Center in Stafford Township.
Nurses at Southern Ocean Medical Center recently filed a new petition with the National Labor Relations Board to remove HPAE as their bargaining representative. According to a statement from HMH, the hospital will continue to negotiate in good faith with the union as the legal process related to the decertification continues.
