Parsippany-based SOS Security LLC, a security company, announced it has recently acquired the operating assets of New Horizon Security Services Inc., a provider of manned security services in Manassas, Virginia.New Horizon Security employs more than 800 officers who serve commercial, residential and state and local government clients.
“We are excited to join SOS Security,” John Frazer, president of New Horizon Security, said in a prepared statement. “As part of SOS, we will continue to serve our customers with the same dedication to quality as we do today, only now as part of a company with over 7,500 employees. We look forward to bringing the benefits of SOS Security’s domestic and global capabilities and extensive operational resources to our customers.”
SOS Security said its acquisition of New Horizon Security will allow it to provide even more security services and exceed client expectations.

Frazer will become the regional vice president of the New Horizon Security’s division of SOS Security and will continue managing the growth in SOS Security’s mid-Atlantic region.

Financial terms were not disclosed.
