Payment processor signs seven-year deal

A Princeton-based payment processor announced Wednesday that it had signed a seven-year contract with an industry leader in the parking management field.Heartland Payment Systems said in a news release that its deal with SP will bolster its growth in the parking payment industry.

“As the largest third party payment network provider in the parking industry, we are excited to forge a relationship with SP to provide the same reliable and secure payment services that form the basis of our strong customer relationships,” David Munson, executive director of client services at Heartland Payment Systems, said in the release.

SP was formed after the merger of Standard Parking Corporation and Central Parking Corporation. Heartland is the nation’s fifth-largest payments processor.
