Independent refiner PBF Energy Inc. and its partnership PBF Logistics LP announced that new presidents will take over the two companies in January 2015, following the retirement of the current leader.The companies said Thursday that Matthew Lucey, executive vice president of PBF Energy, will take over as the company’s president, and Todd O’Malley, PBF Energy’s chief commercial officer, will become president of PBF Logistics’ general partnership.
They replace Michael Gayda, currently president of both companies, who is retiring.
“We have very strong management teams at PBF Energy and PBF Logistics, and this reallocation of resources strengthens the focus of each entity on maximizing and growing the value of their respective businesses,” Thomas D. O’Malley, executive chairman of PBF Energy and chairman of PBF Logistics, said in a prepared statement.
Thomas O’Connor and Paul Davis, meanwhile, will become co-leaders of PBF Energy’s commercial unit.
PBF Logistics is headquartered in Parsippany, and PBF Energy has a facility in Paulsboro.
