On Thursday, Professional Disposables International Inc. opened its new global headquarters in Woodcliff Lake.
The company said its new headquarters is representative of its investment in people. To that end, 180 associates will work from the new space while about 650 operations staff and management positions will continue to be based at the company’s Orangeburg, N.Y. location.
PDI has had offices in Montvale since 2013.
In Woodcliff Lake, the company has built a new lab and innovation center, and the PDI Experience. This new feature allows customers and visitors to see how PDI products are used in the environment so as to foster discussion and invention.
The company said the design of its new space is intended to inspire collaboration and a flexible work environment, featuring open collaboration areas, dedicated meeting spaces and more.
“Today marks one of the most significant and memorable milestones in the four generations of our family owned and operated businesses,” said Zachary Julius, chief executive officer for PDI, in a prepared statement. “It launches PDI into our next phase of investment, growth, and continued expansion. We are excited to bring our associates a world-class open-space environment that is not only fresh and new but stimulates the type of invention that ensures our position as a leader, trusted advisor, and valued-added partner to our customers.”
PDI provides infection prevention products, education resources, and training and support for health care, food safety and communities. The company is made up of three divisions: PDI Healthcare, Sani Professional and PDI Contract Manufacturing.
