On Thursday, Peapack-Gladstone Financial Corp. and Peapack Gladstone Bank announced the promotion of Maureen Hemhauser to executive vice president, chief risk officer and head of compliance for the bank.
In the elevated position, Hemhauser is responsible for overseeing Peapack-Gladstone Bank’s Regulatory Compliance, Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering and OFAC programs, and administering the Enterprise Risk Management Program.
According to Peapack, Hemhauser has three decades’ experience in the financial industry. Since her arrival at the bank in 2015 she had previously served as senior vice president, chief compliance officer at the bank. Prior to that, Hemhauser served as senior compliance manager at FIS Global and as a financial institution examiner and supervisory review examiner at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.’s New York regional office.
Peapack-Gladstone Bank is based in Bedminster; as of Sept. 30, 2019 it had total assets of $4.9 million.
