The former corporate headquarters of GM Stainless Inc. has sold in Branchburg, GM Realty Advisors Inc. announced April 22.
The stainless steel products manufacturer was represented by its owners, Walter and Carol Gauer, in the sale of the 56,000-square-foot warehouse to Grapefruit Realty LLC, dba Aspire Pharmaceuticals.
The buyer was represented by its CEO, Madhav Pai, with real estate brokerage services provided by George Molloy of GM Realty Advisors Inc. Peter Gallicchio of Remco Realty provided brokerage services on behalf of the seller. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Pai is also the founder of Aspire Pharmaceuticals, which is based in Somerset and develops and manufacturers soft gelatin nutritional supplements. The Branchburg location at 41 Imclone Drive within the Branchburg Corporate Center will serve primarily as a distribution facility for the company.
Beyond the 56,000-square-foot warehouse, the property also features 11,000 square feet of offices on a mezzanine level. Situated on 8.58 acres, the site offers 25-foot clear ceilings, six loading docks, one drive-in door, and a roof that was replaced in 2019.
