A luxury rental community in Bayonne has doubled its capacity.
Kushner Real Estate Group said it introduced expanded amenities and 213 additional apartments to Bay 151—a three-phase project situated on 16 acres that will ultimately comprise 625 rental residences and 10,000 square feet of retail space on the New York Harbor.
Studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom residences – some with loft-style floor plans – are available for pre-leasing, with initial occupancy set for Jan. 1, 2022, at monthly rental rates start from $1,910.
Construction on phase two began in October 2020. According to KRE, Bay 151’s initial 200 residences reached lease-up in 2020.
“Bay 151 has quickly become one of Bayonne’s most desirable residential addresses,” said The KRE Group President Jonathan Kushner. “We’re excited to now bring the second phase to market which opens the community up to hundreds of new residents looking for more living and outdoor space, abundant amenities and a well-connected lifestyle – all at an attractive price point.”
A four-story building houses the added units, designed by Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners, which feature floor-to-ceiling windows, central air conditioning and heat, full size in-unit washers and dryers, kitchens with steel Whirlpool appliances, plank flooring throughout, and more.
With the added phase two amenity space, KRE said Bay 151 provides residents more than 65,000 square feet of recreational space, indoors and out, with more planned. Inside, the community currently offers a two-story fitness center, WiFi-equipped resident lounges, a children’s playroom, mail room, coworking space, business center and more. Outside, a resort style swimming pool, dining areas, controlled-access parking deck, children’s play spaces, and more are available to residents.
Bay 151 is within walking distance to the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail’s 45th Street station, a planned commuter ferry terminal and retail options including Costco, Starbucks, Lidl and CVS.
