Three attorneys joined Phillips Nizer LLP’s Hackensack office, the firm announced on July 6.
Stephanie Lehman joined the firm’s matrimonial and family law practice as a partner. Fara Rodriguez joined the practice, too, as counsel. Both come from Arons & Solomon PA and will also practice in New York.
Elana Henderson joined the firm’s litigation group as counsel.
Marc Landis, Phillips Nizer managing partner, called the new attorneys “sophisticated” and “effective advocates,” along with two additional hires who joined the firm’s New York office.
Lehman has represented numerous high-net worth and other individuals through trial and appeals in matrimonial and family-related actions in New York and New Jersey for more than 20 years. She has significant experience litigating cases involving fertility law issues.
She also negotiates and drafts prenuptial, postnuptial, settlement and separation agreements. She advises clients on financial planning concerns such as pension and retirement plans, stock options and grants, trusts, business valuation issues, professional licenses, enhanced earning capacity, and celebrity status.
Richard Adago, co-chair of the firm’s New York Matrimonial & Family Law Practice, called Lehman “a recognized leader in matrimonial law in both New York and New Jersey” and a “great fit for our unique capability to service matrimonial clients in both states.”
Rodriguez focuses her practice on marital dissolution matters, including all financial and custodial issues in New York and New Jersey. She represents clients in all aspects of family and matrimonial law.
Henderson represents and advises businesses and their executives, and condominium/co-op boards of managers in daily operations. She advises clients on and litigates contractual and business disputes, including employment and wage-and-hour law, construction and general negligence issues.
