Pinnacle, KABR unveil new age-restricted homes in West Caldwell

The KABR Group and The Pinnacle Cos. have opened the doors to a new 30-unit luxury rental community in suburban Essex County, the developers announced.Known as The Preserve, the West Caldwell property is geared largely toward adults over age 55, but also includes a limited number of non-age-restricted units, according to a news release. Occupancy is now available.

The firms said that two-bedroom units at the property average 1,350 square feet, with rents starting at $2,875 per month. They also touted amenities such as a state-of-the-art fitness facility, available on-site storage, a business co-working lounge and electric car charging capacity.

“Our ideal setting and high-end services give residents the exclusivity that the most discerning customers desire and deserve,” Jude Mason, vice president for multifamily operations for Ridgefield Park-based KABR, said in a prepared statement.

The homes also include high-end finishes, mobile-controlled thermostats and high-speed internet, the news release said. The community is pet-friendly.

“The Preserve is in an ideal location for empty nesters,” said Michelle Melillo, broker of record for Pinnacle Cos. Realty Group, exclusive broker for The Preserve. “The property is set on 30 acres of scenic land, including a large amount of wooded land, yet is conveniently located near major highways, shopping and dining.”
