Logistics tracking company PowerFleet appointed Patrick Maley as its new chief revenue officer and U.S. general manager, the Woodcliff Lake firm announced April 26.
Working directly with CEO Steve Towe, Maley is charged with leading PowerFleet’s global growth strategy and promoting the company’s mission to improve safety, productivity and sustainability across all operations with Internet-of-Things software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions.
“Patrick’s proven sales and marketing leadership and extensive knowledge of enterprise software is pivotal to the company as we evolve our brand and expand our position as a leading global SaaS provider,” Towe said in a statement.
A supply chain industry veteran, Maley most recently served as chief marketing officer at BluJay Solutions, a global trade and supply chain technology company recently acquired by E2open. Before BluJay, Maley served as president of MAM Software and has also held sales and marketing leadership roles at RedPrairie, Kinaxis and Manhattan Associates.
“This is an exciting time to be joining PowerFleet,” Maley added. “With the increasing need for reliable IoT partners to modernize and unify operational systems, PowerFleet is well positioned to lead the industry with its innovative IoT platform, already deployed at thousands of companies around the world.”
As part of the company’s focus on SaaS transformation, PowerFleet also hired software veteran Jim Zeitunian as its new chief technology officer, announced earlier this month.
