Around the State – North JerseyCLIFTON Ed Braniff, the CFO of Smart Energy Solutions, says his firm has inked a deal to have its Battery Brain product distributed in Italy by the ÂItalian version of Radio Shack.Â
The Battery Brain attaches to a car battery and prevents it from being drained excessively when headlights or other devices are left on. Although the initial agreement is only for 300 Battery Brains, Braniff notes that the Italian company has 2,000 stores. Smart Energy Solutions has opened a production facility in Milan to supply the rollout.
ÂFor us, the deal has the possibility of being very significant, Braniff says.
