This week, an accounting firm with offices in North America, Europe and Asia announced the addition of a partner to one of its Garden State offices.
Edward Rigby will serve as partner in the Tax Services Department for Prager Metis CPAs, based in the firm’s Cranbury location.
“Ed has earned an impressive reputation among his colleagues and clients for being a highly successful negotiator and strategist, and his addition to our team will help us strengthen our reputation as the ‘go-to’ expert for tax-related work,” said office Managing Partner Michael Aroyo in a prepared statement.
According to Prager Metis, Rigby works with clients in the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, financial services, real estate, art and fashion industries. He previously founded and operated a corporate consulting business, the firm said, providing him with insight into the obligations facing business owners.
“[Rigby’s] experience in providing tax advice relating to mergers and acquisitions, international tax structuring, and tax benefits relating to business investments will not only enhance the services we provide to our clients, but will also be a strong internal asset with relation to the firm’s future growth,” added Aroyo.
Prager Metis has additional New Jersey offices in Basking Ridge and Hackensack.
