Westville-based sub sandwich franchise PrimoHoagies inked 15 new deals as it expands down the East Coast, including a three-store introduction of the brand to North Carolina.

PrimoHoagies will open one store in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; three in Raleigh and a to-be-determined city in North Carolina; one in Dickson City, two in Douglassville, two in Pittsburgh and one in Pittston, Pa.; one in Summerville, S.C.; and three in Washington, D.C.

More than half of these locations are expected to open in 2021. They build on the 21 franchise deals announced in January, which also includes stores in Maryland.

“We were fortunate to be able to continue to grow PrimoHoagies during the past year thanks to our well-established takeout service and our expansion into additional curbside pick-up and delivery options as well as an enhanced focus on dinner items,” said Chief Executive Officer Nicholas Papanier Jr. in a prepared statement.

The chain was started in South Philadelphia in 1992 and has since moved to Westville, where it remains. The headquarters are family-owned and operated. Currently, the brand has approximately 80 stores nationwide.
