The 588 individual solar panels installed atop the 280-unit multifamily rental property are expected to generate over 227,000 kilowatt hours of electricity per year.

The electricity will be sold to other users in New Jersey.

The solar-powered system is expected to save 169 metric tons of carbon dioxide per year, an amount equivalent to the annual CO2 emissions from 37 automobiles.
