Radius8, a Princeton-based localization platform for retailers, announced a strategic partnership Monday with scheduling platform JRNI to offer location-based appointment scheduling for customers.
The companies announced the partnership at National Retail Federation’s Big Show at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City.
With retailers looking to bridge the divide between digital-first and brick-and-mortar, the integration allows them to create hyperlocal, mobile-first shopping experiences that deal with the “when and where” of generating both online engagement and in-store traffic, according to the announcement.
Analysts: Retailers must find balance between convenience, values alignment
“Retailers must convey the right message at the right time and location to effectively engage consumers and bring them in-store,” said Radius8 Chief Executive Officer Sandeep Bhanote. “Partnering with JRNI presents our customers with the opportunity to enhance our offering with appointment scheduling – one of the most personalized experiences that retailers can provide – to connect with their consumers locally.”
Retailers can geofence stores through Radius8’s Welcomer solution and bring customers relevant digital content on their websites, including local promotions, events, offers, and popular products. Partnering with JRNI now brings forth the scheduling function seamlessly to the homepage through the Welcomer solution, alerting the consumer about the possibility of booking an appointment.
“Today’s consumers demand individualized experiences, regardless of their location, and retailers must be able to meet those expectations to succeed,” said JRNI CEO John Federman. “By partnering with Radius8, we can create tailored, personal shopping experiences that allow retailers to deepen their customer relationships and achieve more revenue in-store.”
