The bank is the first WELL-certified property in New Jersey.
“TD Bank is committed to enhancing the health and well-being of our customers, our employees and the communities that we serve,” TD Bank Sustainability and Innovation Director Jacquelynn Henke said.
The WELL standards focus on seven categories of building performance including air, water and light.
“Based on what we learned in this groundbreaking WELL pilot program, we hope to incorporate wellness features into other locations whenever we can in tandem with our larger focus on green building practices and sustainability,” Henke said.
The bank has applied for LEED certification and is under review.
