The Yankees Broadcast Booth is welcoming a new exclusive sponsor: Iselin-based Provident Bank.
On April 11, the financial institution announced a multiyear partnership with Audacy and the Yankees Radio Network on WFAN 101.9 FM/66 AM (WFAN-FM/AM) in New York.
The collaboration marks the first broadcast radio sponsorship for Provident Bank.
“We’re thrilled to join the Yankees Radio Network family. This partnership is a fantastic opportunity to align our brand with the winningest franchise in sports,” Provident Bank President and CEO Anthony Labozzetta said in a statement. “The Yankees’ commitment to their fans and their pursuit of excellence is consistent with our brand promise and guiding principles.”
In addition to its backing of the Booth, Provident said it will also receive broadcast and digital marketing assets, and access to exclusive hospitality experiences.
Though this partnership is with Audacy and Yankees Radio Network, and not the ball club directly, the bank does have a number of other sport-related partnerships, including serving as the Official Banking Partner of the New York Red Bulls, an Official Partner of Rutgers Athletics, the Official Bank of the New Jersey State Golf Association, and the Official Bank of the Northeast Conference.
According to the bank, its commitment to employees, customers and the communities it has served since its founding in 1839 now extends to Yankees Radio Network and fans of Major League Baseball’s New York Yankees.
“Given our shared values of community, and a commitment to those we serve, we couldn’t be more excited to team up with Provident Bank beginning with this Yankees season,” said Audacy New York Senior Vice President and Market Manager Chris Oliviero in a statement. “Like its loyal fanbase, we look forward to cheering on the team alongside our new partners.”
