Public Service Enterprise Group announced Thursday that Rich Lopriore, president of PSEG Fossil, is retiring as of July 1.Lopriore, who has spent 43 years in the electric generation industry, joined PSEG in May 2007 overseeing 13 generation facilities spanning four states. He also instituted one of the first programs in the nation to drive standardization across a fossil fleet.
Prior to joining PSEG, he held numerous positions at Excelon beginning in 1999 as plant manager of Byron Stations, vice president for the mid-west BWRs and ending as senior vice president – mid-Atlantic operations for Excelon Nuclear. Prior to Excelon, he held several management positions at the Brunswick Nuclear Plant.
