Questions sought for N.J. political debate

//September 18, 2009

Do you have a burning question you want to ask the candidates for New Jersey lieutenant governor? Here’s your chance.NJBIZ is joining Leadership New Jersey in presenting the official lieutenant governor’s debate, which will be televised live at 8 p.m., on Oct. 8, from Monmouth University in West Long Branch. It will be a town-hall format, and the questioners will be voters like you. In fact, it may even be you.

Debate organizers are interested in policy questions about important issues facing New Jersey, as well as questions about the role the new lieutenant governor should play in our state government.

Even if your question is not selected for the debate, you will be eligible to receive up to two tickets to attend the debate in person. Leadership New Jersey will contact you approximately one week before the debate if you have been selected as either a participant or audience member.

To submit a question, visit: www.newjerseylieutenantgovernordebate.com/userinput.html

Questions must be received at the Web site by Sept. 23.
