QuickChek opened its newest convenience store in North Jersey.

Located at 92 Route 46 W. in Ridgefield, the 24-hour outpost officially began welcoming customers March 28.

According to the chain, more than half of the 5,496-square-foot store is dedicated to freshly prepared items and features touchscreens to personalize made-to-order food and beverage items, mobile ordering through the QuickChek Rewards app and contactless self-checkout counters.

Additionally, the layout includes an open floor plan with spacious standalone food displays and consumer-friendly wide aisles. It also has no-fee ATMs, indoor seating for 10 people, outdoor seating for eight people and 45 parking spaces.

QuickChek Divisional Vice President Don Leech said, “We make a difference in people’s everyday lives by providing one-stop shopping for your everyday needs. We believe in letting you choose your convenience, whether you shop in-store, from home, from your phone, or on-the-go.”

Along with a canopy of eight gas pumps, the new store has a separate section of high-flow diesel gasoline for tractor trailers—a first for the Whitehouse Station-based gas and food chain.

After noting that high-flow diesel was “in demand” along this particular stretch of Route 46, Leech said the offering “provides us with another way to meet the needs of the communities we serve.”

As part of its grand opening, QuickChek plans to donate 25 cents for every sub sandwich sold in the new store during the first 30 days to the Boys & Girls Club of Hackensack, according to the chain.

Customers at the Ridgefield store can also take advantage of QuickChek’s Free Coffee Fridays campaign, which provides Rewards members with a bonus of one free coffee – any size, hot or iced – every Friday through April 28.

A wholly owned subsidiary of Murphy USA, QuickChek operates 161 stores, including 98 locations with fuel, throughout New Jersey and New York.

QuickChek also has plans to open four other stores soon in the following locations:

  • Totowa – 809 Riverview Drive
  • Union Township – 172 Perryville Road
  • Scotch Plains – 475 Terrill Road
  • East Hanover – 235 Route 10
