QuickChek is giving a whole new meaning to fresh and fast. For the first time ever, the Whitehouse Station-based convenience chain is partnering with NASCAR team Petty GMS to promote its “Best Damn Sandwich in Town” campaign at one of the most anticipated races of the year.
As part of the new sponsorship, QuickChek is giving a fresh look to NASCAR Cup Series driver Ty Dillon’s No. 42 Chevrolet, which will make its debut Oct. 9 at the Bank of America ROVAL 400 in Charlotte, N.C.
In a Oct. 4 press release announcing the partnership, QuickChek Divisional Vice President Don Leech described it as “an exciting new way for us to enhance our customer experience and connections with thousands of NASCAR fans.”
For QuickChek – a local favorite in New Jersey that has earned numerous accolades, including National Convenience Store Chain of the Year – the sponsorship with Petty GMS “enables us to really drive home we have the best damn sandwich in town with the best damn racing team.”
Known for its unique layout combining both oval and road course racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the Bank of America ROVAL 400 has become of the highest-anticipated races of the year since its 2018 founding. Dillon, a veteran race car driver and North Carolina native, said he’s looking forward to getting behind the wheel of the white-and-green colored QuickChek Chevrolet.
“Bringing new partners into our industry is always exciting, but when we have the chance to do so in our backyard, it’s even cooler. I’m proud to represent all of the employees, customers, and partners of QuickChek as we race on the ROVAL this weekend. NASCAR fans have proven to be some of the most brand-loyal fans in all of sports, so hopefully they will see this partnership as a reason to stop in a QuickChek store next time they head north. I can’t wait to meet some of their team members and show them what our sport is all about in Charlotte!”
