QuickChek Corp. promoted two members of its management team.
Thirty-five-year QuickChek veteran Don Leech was promoted to vice president of marketing and development from his previous position as vice president of real estate and development. He began his career with QuickChek at the company’s Middletown store in 1985.
Rich Lamont, who joined QuickChek in 2006 as real estate development manager, was promoted to director of real estate. He most recently served as QuickChek’s senior real estate development manager.
The Whitehouse Station-based convenience store and gas station chain opened its first store of 2020 in Eatontown on Jan. 21. More than 50 percent of the new 5,496-square-foot store is dedicated to freshly prepared food and market items. It is located at the intersection of Routes 35 and 36 across from the Monmouth Mall.
This is the first of several stores scheduled to open across New Jersey and Long Island in 2020. Each store creates between 40 and 45 jobs, including eight management positions.
