Radware said in a news release that it would provide the undisclosed CDN company with hardware, attack mitigation updates and device maintenance.

“Expanding our market footprint with CDNs, service providers and (original equipment manufacturer) partners is a critical element of our business strategy,” Roy Zisapel, Radware’s CEO and president, said in a prepared statement. “Our attack mitigation solution will support this customer’s security services business in concert with their CDN offering. Radware security solutions will assist that CDN’s infrastructure to provide the fastest and highest-quality (direct denial of service) detection and mitigation to its clients without latency, downtime or service degredation.

“We view this relationship with a leading CDN provider as a strong testimonial to our technology leadership.”

Radware did not elaborate on the financial details of the deal.
