The new office at 2500 Plaza 5, 25th Floor in Jersey City is the second location in New Jersey after one in Marlton.
Rawle & Henderson is the oldest firm in the nation, according to the American Bar Association. The 235-year-old firm is headquartered in Philadelphia.
“Although Rawle & Henderson is the oldest firm in the nation and has been in existence for 235 years, we constantly evaluate the legal market and search for seasoned trial attorneys to broaden our ability to serve our clients diversity of risk and potential liability in the Mid-Atlantic region and to serve the growing national legal marketplace,” John McMeekin, partner and executive committee member, said of the expansion via email.
“We look to grow that office in the future and utilize the movement of attorneys in other offices to free up space to expand our New York and New Haven, Connecticut offices,” he said.
