An indoor go-kart racing course – billed as the largest in the world – is set to open in New Jersey.
Located at 987 Route 1 in Edison, Supercharged Entertainment will start engines at its 131,000-square-foot venue Dec. 16.
Along with a multilevel, temperature-controlled, 80,000-square foot go-kart area with two uniquely designed tracks for its 18-horsepower, all-electric karts, the sprawling 160-acre complex features several other entertainment experiences, including:
- Nineteen lanes of Luxury Axe Throwing with private lounge seating, food and bar service, and interactive projection targets and competitive games.
- A two-story arcade and gaming area featuring nearly 160 games, including several virtual reality experiences and a prize center.
- A two-story “Drop & Twist Tower” attraction that spins, drops and passes through all floors of the venue and a spacious “Bionic Bumper Cars” arena.
- Space for private events, conferences and parties, with catering available.
Supercharged Entertainment Edison also features Burger & Brews, a full-service restaurant offering burgers, fresh-cut fries and milkshake mugs. For those over 21, the venue has two full-service bars with more than 30 beers on tap, cocktails and specialty drinks in a sports bar setting with TVs and big screens.
In a statement, Stephen Sangermano, president of Supercharged Entertainment, said the company is excited to celebrate the opening of “what we believe is certainly New Jersey’s and the world’s best, all-in-one karting and entertainment venue.”
He added, “Supercharged Entertainment Edison has something for everyone – couples, families, kids, groups, and companies. We’re beyond thrilled to show all of New Jersey, and New York and Pennsylvania too all the exhilarating and insane fun our Edison venue has to offer.”
