ReadySpaces offers flexible storage and office spaces for small and growing businesses. And the company is expanding its own footprint, with a deal for its largest warehouse location.
On Feb. 8, ReadySpaces said it leased a 164,500-square-foot building at 575 N. Midland Ave. in Saddle Brook, marking its largest location and its third in the Tri-State area.
“Building our footprint in the Tri-State area has always been important to us because of the sheer volume of business here. Finding the right properties, that are centrally located and accessible to transportation, has been key,” ReadySpaces Chief Operating Officer Kevin Petrovic said in a prepared statement. “We are thrilled to provide local business owners with the space and amenities they need to excel in 2022.”
Colliers said it secured the agreement for ReadySpaces, with Executive Vice President Mike Davis and Executive Managing Director Noah Balanoff representing the tenant in the long-term Saddle Brook lease.
ReadySpaces is a Colliers national exclusive client with 25 locations across the U.S. and Canada. It offers turnkey offices with storage space of between 250 square feet and 5,000 square feet, according to the company, allowing small businesses to easily scale operations to meet their growing business needs.
The offerings are designed to serve as incubators for these enterprises, with collaborative workspaces and business services in addition to its storage and industrial areas.
Davis said the new location will “provide small businesses access to the office and warehouse space they need amid the current constrained supply available in the market.” Colliers also highlighted the availability of additional land for on-site parking at the Saddle Brook location, which sits on more than 7 acres, providing options for tenants, and an additional income source for the tenant.
Formerly home to a corrugated box company, ReadySpaces said the Saddle Brook location will open its doors in early spring.
“This new Bergen County location will complement other soon-to-be announced ReadySpaces facilities in New Jersey,” Balanoff said in a prepared statement on Feb. 15. “The tremendous success by ReadySpaces across its entire portfolio supports the company’s continued growth in New Jersey and beyond.”
The company’s other Tri-State spots are split between New Jersey and New York, the former in North Bergen and the latter in Queens.
