Real Estate Company Acquires Deptford Mall for 241 Million

The Deptford Mall purchase brings the total of number of regional malls owned by Macerich to 73, consisting of approximately 77 million square feet ofMacerich Partnership, the operating partnership of Macerich (NYSE: MAC), a Santa Monica, Calif.-based real estate investment trust, has acquired Deptford Mall in Deptford for an estimated $241 million. Deptford Mall is a two-level, 1,040,000-square-foot mall anchored by JC Penney, Sears, Boscov’s and Macy’s. The mall includes 343,000 square feet of shop space. Annual tenant sales per square foot are approximately $507.
