The NJBIZ Real Estate Power 50 lists professionals at the top of their game whose experience, determination, connections and business savvy are driving the dynamism that is real estate in northern, central and southern New Jersey today.

Industry leaders agree that 2017 is a year for the books. New investments and huge, complex deals are making a significant impact on communities throughout the state–and in some ways, transforming the way we live, work and travel in New Jersey. Despite the state’s land constraints, insiders have dubbed this the “year of industrial,” as developers and builders have pushed the limits in the field.

The NJBIZ Real Estate Power 50 lists professionals at the top of their game whose experience, determination, connections and business savvy are driving the dynamism that is real estate in northern, central and southern New Jersey today. 

NJBIZ Real Estate Power 50 was compiled after interviews with dozens of industry leaders who were asked to nominate colleagues and competitors who have established reputations as leaders and power brokers with deep knowledge of the market, the ability to reach across all segments of the industry and persuade others to raise communities together. The professionals on this list are demonstrate vision, passion, hard work and the commitment to see deals through to completion. They are trailblazers who embrace ideas and deals that force us to think differently about our state. They invest in projects to modernize and energize the industry and make it more inclusive.

This list includes professionals from all parts of the real estate market: development, brokerage, finance, legal, educational, consulting and public policy.

Many of the names on the Power 50 are familiar, like Jon Hanson of Hampshire Companies, Chris Paladino of New Brunswick Development Corp, Gretchen Wilcox of Wilcox of G.S.
