A Bridgewater-based records storage and management company has acquired a Long Island City-based document storage firm, it announced recently.2-20 Records Management, which had made another acquisition earlier this month, purchased Midtown Record Storage, a division of Steinway Moving & Storage, according to a news release.
Midtown, which has been in business for 20 years, is a document specialist, the release said. It will be part of 2-20’s InfoStore division.
“We at 2-20 Records Management are excited to add Midtown Record Storage clients to our family,” CEO Doug Mann said in a prepared statement. “We look forward to building strong relationships and exceeding your expectations.”
In an extension of the relationship, 2-20 said, Steinway Moving & Storage will offer new clients the InfoStore suite of services, while InfoStore will offer clients Steinway’s moving services.
“Joining the 2-20 family of companies will allow us to expand our service offering and provide state-of-the-art technology, while continuing our focus on delivering great customer service,” James Benatti, Steinway’s owner and president, said in a statement. “We also expect a seamless transition.”
